Flying Star (Xuan Kong Fei Xing)
A time-based feng shui system that maps nine stars onto the nine palaces of a home according to its facing and construction period.
A chart that changes with time
Flying Star (玄空飞星) divides time into nine periods of twenty years each. Period 9 runs from 2024 to 2043. A house takes the period of the year it was built or last substantially renovated.
Three layers of stars
The period star sits at the center, then the mountain star (people and health) and the facing star (wealth) fly through the nine palaces. Annual stars add a fourth, yearly layer.
Reading the result
Each palace shows a pair of stars. Timely stars such as 8 and 9 are auspicious; 2 and 5 are the ones to keep quiet. The tool rates every palace and highlights the overall pattern of the chart.
