Flying Star Calculator
Plot the Xuan Kong Flying Star chart of your home from its facing degree and move-in year, with annual stars and room-by-room advice.
About the Flying Star calculator
Xuan Kong Flying Star divides time into nine periods of twenty years and maps nine stars onto the nine palaces of a building. The period star sits in the centre; the mountain star governs people and health, the facing star governs wealth, and the annual star adds a yearly layer.
This calculator takes the facing degree to find the sitting and facing mountains among the twenty-four mountains, flies the stars forward or backward according to the classical yin-yang rule, rates every palace, and highlights special patterns such as Prosperous Mountain and Facing.
Frequently asked questions
