Five Yellow (Wu Huang)
The most harmful of the nine flying stars, associated with misfortune when it is disturbed.
The star to keep still
The Five Yellow (五黄) is an earth star with no trigram of its own. When it lands in a palace, that sector should stay quiet: avoid renovation, loud activity and fire colors there.
Traditional cures
Metal drains earth, so metal objects such as a brass bowl or a metal wind chime are the classic remedy. Check its annual position each year, since it moves with the annual flying stars.
