Period 9 flat facing N1: where should the home office go?
The question
We bought a new apartment in Sydney and moved in in March 2025. The front door faces north, about 345 degrees. I work from home four days a week and can choose between three rooms for the office. The calculator shows 9-9 at the back of the flat. Which room should I pick, and which should be the bedroom?

The answer
The chart in one line
A Period 9 flat facing N1 puts both 9 stars in the south, the sitting side. The wealth star (water 9) and the people star (mountain 9) are at the back of the flat rather than at the door. The door in the north carries water star 1, the next prosperous star, with mountain 8 beside it. This is a good chart for a home worker: your money energy is inside the flat, not on the street.
Palace by palace
- South (mountain 9, water 9): the most active sector. The water star wants light, movement and a view; the mountain star wants a solid wall behind you. A room here with a window and a desk against the inner wall satisfies both. This is the office.

The annual 9 visits the southeast this year and the annual 5 lands in the south, on your office. Do not renovate the office during 2026; put a brass or pewter object on the desk and keep loud music out of that room until February 2027. The annual 4 in the northeast is a pleasant bedroom star for study and romance.
